Did not finish book。 Stopped at 51%。it was literally so hard to read through jacob’s pov as it was so boring and annoying。 after somehow reading all that bullshit, i was glad that i’ll finally be able to finish the book quickly but then i saw that i had AN ENTIRE HALF of the book with bella’s pov left。 😐 and that just made me GIVE UP

I don’t like twilight, but at the same time I do。 It’s a love-hate relationship。 I like the plot, but dislike the characters。 I think the writing can hook you and keep you reading and yet there’s a lot of unnecessary stuff that don’t need to be there。 It’s not that fun to read about Bella washing the dishes。 However, I do think the plot is creative。 It’s like reading hotel Transilvania in ratted R。

Es el último libro de la saga y antes de llegar al felices para siempre los protagonistas deben enfrentar la última situación peligrosa。

I had to PUSH thought to finish this book。 I was really boring especially of bella’s pov。

3。5 ⭐ Quite a pleasing ending to the saga。 Format: audiobook

A wonderful ending。 And the fight scene didn’t exactly happen the way it did in the movie Breaking Dawn Part 2

Shelby Bing

This was… how I expected it to be, but a little better? At least people weren’t manipulating Bella for the WHOLE book, I guess?

Karissa

Could’ve been 2 stars if it weren’t for Jacob’s stupid book

not really worth it just watch the movies

Ok, I did it! I reread the whole series。 Breaking Dawn is not my favorite, I’m sticking with Eclipse。 The ending of this one just drags on and on for me and I was like okay let’s end this already。 That’s probably because I know the ending。 Anyway, I still don’t recommend this series if it’s your first time。 HOWEVER, if you’re looking for a lovely nostalgia comfort zone trip, I highly recommend picking this up again。 I watched each movie after finishing which was nice and I’m honestly pretty plea Ok, I did it! i am such an unironic twilight stan that usually i eat these up but this is the most boring book i have ever read in my life it is almost 800 pages of absolutely nothing happening。 the only interesting part was the volturi fight and it doesnt happen until the last 75 pages, and is way less cool than the movie fight。 i wanted to love renesmee cause honestly some of her lines and interactions with other characters are super cute, but getting bella pregnant is just such an easy cop out and the whol i am such an unironic twilight stan that usually i eat these up but this is the most boring book i have ever read in my life it is almost 800 pages of absolutely nothing happening。 the only interesting part was the volturi fight and it doesnt happen until the last 75 pages, and is way less cool than the movie fight。 i wanted to love renesmee cause honestly some of her lines and interactions with other characters are super cute, but getting bella pregnant is just such an easy cop out and the whole imprinting on a child thing is so uncomfortable and weird。 the only thing saving this from being a 1 star is that the ending did get me just a little。 onto midnight sun! 。。。more

Loved this book。 Except Jaboc, like just cross his 150 pages out, didn't need to read that。 But now I can officially say this: Edward=Daddy!!! Loved this book。 Except Jaboc, like just cross his 150 pages out, didn't need to read that。 But now I can officially say this: Edward=Daddy!!! 。。。more

Bella

This is my favorite book series ever I love the twilight series so much。 I loved how everything came together and all of the loose ends were tied。 I love all of the description and it never felt too much。 I loved cauis and how much more power he had than in the movie。

Kamryn Arvisais

Loved this book so much。 It did kind of drag for me at certain points but given that it is almost 800 pages I think I did pretty well with finishing it in a good amount of time。 This series is one of my favorites and I’m more than likely going to read midnight sun in the nest future to truly complete the series。

Best book of the series in my opinion! Jacob has finally mature。 Edward is spends less time exasperated because Bella is much less of a whiny cry baby。 Harper in more in the background, but Rose gets the foreground even if it's for selfish reasons。 I know a movie can't be exactly like the book, but for this book, I'd happily set for 8 hours to watch it。 We get much more detail into many of the characters! I remember being excited to read this book when it came out and halfway through Bella becomes so unbearable of a character you hate her and for the first time in the series you jump to Jacob's perspective。 I had an epiphany that this book and perhaps the previous ones as well were poorly written and mildly infuriating。 This review is written close to 15 years after the reading so it may be tainted by only pain and anger。 Oh well。 I remember being excited to read this book when it came out and halfway through Bella becomes so unbearable of a character you hate her and for the first time in the series you jump to Jacob's perspective。 I had an epiphany that this book and perhaps the previous ones as well were poorly written and mildly infuriating。 This review is written close to 15 years after the reading so it may be tainted by only pain and anger。 Oh well。 。。。more

Jacob ruined the entire book for me。 he is literally a walking flaming red flag。 I don't understand how Bella hasn't killed the man yet。 Jacob ruined the entire book for me。 he is literally a walking flaming red flag。 I don't understand how Bella hasn't killed the man yet。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Although Jacob is slightly more tolerable in this one, he still remains mostly the worst—outside of the imprinting thing which yes, of course, is pretty weird and creepy。 I think Meyer’s plan of keeping the three central figures of Bella, Edward, and Jacob together was a bit messy。 It doesn’t seem like this was her original intention, and she came up with it on the fly while writing Eclipse as to also present a way in which there was ultimately, no heartbreak。 Yes, she could have figured out a d Although Jacob is slightly more tolerable in this one, he still remains mostly the worst—outside of the imprinting thing which yes, of course, is pretty weird and creepy。 I think Meyer’s plan of keeping the three central figures of Bella, Edward, and Jacob together was a bit messy。 It doesn’t seem like this was her original intention, and she came up with it on the fly while writing Eclipse as to also present a way in which there was ultimately, no heartbreak。 Yes, she could have figured out a different way, but oh, well。 The baby thing is annoying and strange…can’t Bella just enjoy some hot sex without that ruining the party? I kid。 (Kind of…not really。 I’m not kidding。 I totally mean this。) Must women always be punished for enjoying sex and embracing their sexuality? Must they always be martyred in some way? I digress。 This one at least had a bit less internalized misogyny which is good。I can see where people think some Mormon agenda by Meyer is peeking through, but honestly, I don’t think that was her intention。 All of these books just feel to me as a form of escapism for her and possibly somewhat wish fulfillment。 She wrote the character of Bella so well—trying to protect some dangerous fetus was really something Bella would do。 The girl has zero self preservation。 I rolled my eyes at her thinking, but it’s the same reaction I had in past books where she willingly offers herself up for sacrifice。 The whole Edward needing to be married thing was also very “Edward。” Of course, the characters are already operating inside of a world that, despite having lots of supernatural aspects to it, otherwise does not extend far past the barriers of our own societal norms, infrastructure, patriarchal ideas, etc。 So, of course, the idea of being “old fashioned” by a vampire who is a little over one hundred years old meant he would believe in our society’s construct of virginity and that sex before marriage was something judged harshly—ultimately, something he saw as having the possibility to further increase the chances of “damning their souls。” The characters were already limited with the reality constructed by the author, so yes, of course women being martyrs comes in to play as well。 Could Stephenie Meyer have used some imagination to change these things and buck the system? Sure。 But she didn’t, and I don’t really see a person of her generation who was deeply entrenched in these ideas growing up changing so radically at the times she was writing all of these books。 Or maybe these books actually were her being somewhat radical and rebellious against her upbringing and the ideas society and her religion forced her to conform to? I have no idea。 Of course, I wanted better for these characters and the books! But in the grand scheme of things, I don’t find it a blight on society or my life。 Overall, this book is still enjoyable, and it’s fun to see Bella as a bit of a badass at times。 We’ve spent so long with her being helpless; it’s nice to see her on level ground for once。 It was a fun read! End scattered, rambling thoughts。 *sigh* Now what am I to do for an escape from our current hellscape? 。。。more

I absolutely love Stephanie Meyer’s writing。 This book was long but i understand why it was long because everything in this book was necessary to create the story。 Perfect ending to Bella and Edward’s story

I mean I skipped, like, 150 pages, but it was still great!
